Iron Throne offers gameplay for all levels of players, from the free-to-play (F2P) to those who spend money. Many gamers have been highly successful in building efficient accounts without spending, or spending very little. As part of Iron Throne Elite’s Community Week, we speak to some of these players for their tips and tricks!

K11 LivingDeadShell: “Patience is the best thing for F2P. Don’t be a hero in events, just do enough for Tier 3. Save Speed Ups for days that have the boost to go with what you want to do. Pop Town boosts that match the day’s Kingdom boost. Always do all town mode, quests, and random cards.”

K29 Kidaffi: “Crafting tips when it comes to rare materials: if you get immortal, always break it down into 4 purples. And then break one of those purples down into blue, so you have 4 blue and 3 purple materials out of that 1 Immortal material. You can end up crafting for sure a minimum of 2 immortal items. I’ve tended to have better luck when I mass craft, instead of crafting right away as soon as I get materials. I’ve had much better luck when crafting different sets each craft. So I’ll craft a Conquerer piece, then switch to Destroyer or something like that.”

K11 GoGo: “Hit all events to Tier 3 for the payouts. Smash Monsters daily for the materials. Always make sure you’re Rank 21-50 for Arena, it’s free gold every Sunday. Run Lauren around town to collect the chests. Sell Chaotic gear for silver, but only during an Obtain Resources event. Be sure to finish VIP quests daily. Only do Research/Build on Wednesday and Thursday with the Kingdom boost. Poke the dragon on the altar, it gives 100-500 gold every 3 hours.”

HappyFriday: “Use the three resets for the random cards at the Inn every day. Each reset gives at least 3 days of Speed Ups, a good rate for 3,000 gold. And always try to get Tier 3 rewards in any Monster Hunt/Chaotic Stronghold event. Only use Speed Ups on something if there’s an event running for it. That will easily give enough gold daily for the Inn reset.”

K1 Rhaegar: “For Speed Ups, I do Monsters, Chaotics, and Inn. For gear, I grind events. Do Defiled Stronghold runs daily for RSS.”

K11 TayR: “First, do Town Mode. Line up all three rewards as the same for whatever you’re doing that day. Do all quests also. Second, collect quests religiously every time they reset, it’s lots of EXP. Do events as often as you can for Gold, chests and RSS. Three, kill monsters as high-level as you can, and Chaotic Strongholds. Participate in Defiled Rallies.”

K34 MadHatter: “Hunt Monsters, lots and lots of monsters. Use Speed Ups for timer completion for events, you must participate in every event that you can. Complete town mode daily. Compete in Dimensional Battle Arena for rank and weekly season rewards. Compete in Battle Royale and Deathmatch. Make sure to be at or near zero for each Lord level-up, as you get 500 free AP.”

K8 Liam: “Do all the quests, and all the quests daily in Town Mode for VIP points, Speed Ups and gear chests. Don’t use Speed Ups until full helps are hit, and then wait for the Inferno event to use the Speed Ups. Hero-wise, make Carl as strong as possible for Dimensional Battles. Hit Monsters to level up Heroes instead of wasting Hero XP items. When I attack a Monster, I always use Hero with the weakest CP power I have that will still be able to kill it. Some events take a lot more to get to the higher levels. I save for the ones with lower points needed, or just hit Tier 2 on the big ones.”

K33 Franc-Tireur: “I focused my development on Team Deathmatch and killing events. I finish very often in first. I also focus on Monster events to get the most equipment materials. Do all the daily VIP quests, and then all city mode quests (don’t forget the special buffs), and everything possible in the event center.”

K1 Jon: “If you are spending a little, really look at what packs are giving you. There are cheap hidden gems that don’t seem like much at first glance (Aly’s note: Alliance pack is an example). Never skip the VIP daily and Town Mode Quests, as they will come in handy for a few rounds of Super Infernos. No need to train troops at max capacity to beat an Inferno. Figure out how many are needed to reach the Tier 3 rewards, and train that amount so that you can save even more speeds for bigger events.”

K33 WreakHavoc: “Infernos and Random Cards are some of the greatest tools in rapid growth. Hit Chaotics during Infernos to get Ancient Coins. You can get 9- to 21-plus days’s worth of Speed Ups by refreshing Random Cards.”

K8 Seariousman: “This game makes it a lot of fun grinding for Speed Ups and Gear. I find Monster Hunting and Chaotic Stronghold hunts really fun. They not only help grind events, but also help with Gear and gold coins for the Inn, which is the ultimate spot for speed grinding. Gathering RSS when not playing is very important for F2P players. Recall them when you can get points in the events. Easiest way to grind gear and gold without spending time in the game. Also, allocate RSS and Speed Ups to Research and not Troops training.”

K8 Faye: “Do the events to the max that you know you can place top 3 in; Monsters and Chaotics for example, and for all other prizes just collect Tier 3. Research, stack and save everything, then hit a big Research or Building when you know most of your bigs are sleeping to place higher. The deal with Chaotic Strongholds is when you attack for events, you win on multiple levels. You get your event rank, but also get the coins for the Inn, which is the cheapest way to stack and save on speeds. Use your gold to refresh, because no matter what it refreshes to, the Speed Ups are cheaper than just buying them. Monsters and Chaotics are everything, and will help you grow so much bigger and faster. Dedication and the will to be great will always get you there.”
