Long ago, powerful Demigods ruled over all the lands. They faced many foes, none greater than Infidus himself. Using ancient magic, the mighty Demigods were able to fend off Infidus time and time again. Peace followed for many seasons, until one day Infidus broke the chains that bound him! It is up you, Descendant of the Firstborn! Take to the Dimensional Battlefield and slay this demon once and for all!

Iron Throne Elites have put together a guide that is “out of this world.” Step through the Gate and let the fun begin.

What is the Dimensional Battle?

Iron Throne brings excitement and new challenges with each new feature. The Dimensional Battle (DB) is no different. The DB is a strategy-based battle revolving around the story of the Firstborn. DBs are unlike most mobile game battlezones as Heroes, Troops, and your unique strategies play out in 3-D battlescapes before your very eyes.

The DB has two modes: the Main Story, and PVP.

Story Mode

The Story Mode takes place inside the Dimensional Void. There is a progression map. Each level is unlocked as you complete the one before it. Each new level challenges the adventurer and carries them through several plot twists in the story.

As you advance forces, our Iron Throne Elite scouts have assembled a list of helpful tips to complete the story and unlock all of the prizes. (You’re welcome.)

  • Troop selection: To achieve victory over your enemies, you need the proper Troop selection. In fact, according to our research, Troop selection is the most important factor in the Dimensional Battle. You have 4 Troop types to choose from; Infantry, Cavalry, Archers, and Siege. Higher Troop tiers become available as you unlock them in your city. Each battle, you can select up to 10 Troops, so choose wisely.

  • Each Troop variety is suited to challenge another force. For example, if your enemy uses more Archers, you will want to add more Cavalry and less Infantry. Cavalry have an advantage over Archers, and will allow you to kill troops faster. Use less Infantry in this case, as most enemy attacks will be executed with their Archers, which will have the advantage. If you are unsure when to use each troop type, refer to the chart below or ask in our Line and Discord server.

  • Troop Placement: Troop placement can give you the edge needed to win in battle. Before you begin, you will have the chance to carefully place each of your troops on the map. *Elite tip: the enemy usually goes for your Siege first; by having the Siege in the back, the enemy troops must fight through all your troops to defeat your Siege. Placing the Siege in the back allows you to do a lot of Siege damage before your Siege ever gets hit. In addition, it is important to note that Cavalry goes straight to Siege. Therefore, surrounding your Siege with Infantry helps to counter the Cavalry troops. However, be aware in some situations placing Siege at the front may be more beneficial.
  • Research: Research is a great weapon inside the dimensional void. It allows you to unlock amazing and powerful skills. You can level up your existing skills or even research more health or attack. The possibilities are endless. So if you find yourself struggling, check the academy to see what secrets await.
  • Gear: Every Warrior must be prepared when they go into battle. The Dimensional Battle is no different. Try to find gear that offers Dimensional stats. Currently, Relics are the best go-to gear for DB. Be sure to check out our Forge Article for the full breakdown of all the Gear sets.
  • Hero: You are allowed to take one Hero into battle. Be sure to properly skill your Hero with Dimensional Attack and Health. If you have Dimensional Runes, use them. Battles are often decided by the tiniest decisions. Give your Hero the ability to win for you.

PVP

Once you have your feet wet and a good understanding of the basics, jump into the Arena and test your skills against other heroes. The Arena has a similar setup and strategy as the Story Mode, except this time you are fighting other players and not Infidus. In addition, in this mode you can take up to 4 Heroes in with you. You are given a list of opponents from which to choose that have power levels directly around yours or slightly higher.

Most opponents on the list can be beaten fairly easily with appropriate planning and strategy. With each victory, you are awarded a stat advantage; win ten straight for the highest advantage. *Elite tip: start with the weakest on the list and then test yourself at varying levels. This will allow you to build your streak and unlock stat boost before going after the tough opponents to eventually climb all the way to the top of the arena rankings.

Do you have what it takes to destroy Infidus, once and for all? Are you ready to prove yourself as a fearless gladiator in the arena? Either way, Iron Throne Elites would love to be a part of your journey along the way. Find us wherever you already are: Discord, Line, Reddit and, of course, in game!
