An Intro to Sanctuaries

PrincessKat is back with a new video and she’s covering Sanctuaries.

What they are, where are they located, and what kind of bonuses you receive when your Alliance owns it as well as what kind of bonus they provide during Capital Wars.

Additionally, she breaks down the different Artifact boosts each Sanctuary provides. Don’t forget that you’ll receive rewards after the countdown reaches 0:00 if you have troops in that Sanctuary!

Remember, you don’t have to be a top player to take these Sanctuaries. Some people will reinforce their sanctuaries with additional troops which will give you the advantage to protect them. However, PrincessKat suggests that you just put one troop in so if someone comes to snipe it, you can just try to take it back.

It’s a great opportunity to learn how to rally and reinforce with your guild. Just remember to set up your Citadel in the perimeter of the forest surrounding the Sanctuary. That way you can attack without dropping your shield. If you try to attack or reinforce outside of the forest, it will force you to drop your shield. No Bueno!

Keep in mind, when you’re attacking an occupied Sanctuary, you can only conquer it once your Alliance’s attack power exceeds the defending alliance’s power. If you don’t, they’ll continue to maintain the Sanctuary so PrincessKat suggests to Rally to overtake the defending alliance’s power.

If you have any questions about conquering and maintaining Sanctuaries that I may have not covered, feel free to leave any comments below!
